Calling moms in IY, Hangberg, and other under-resourced communities in Hout Bay!
We’re looking for mothers to share their stories. Becoming a mom brings so much joy, but it can also be hard and lonely, especially when help isn’t easy to find.
Pregnancy and the first year with a new baby can be some of the most meaningful months of a mother’s life. They can also be some of the loneliest. Many mothers in South Africa go through this time without anyone really asking how they’re doing.
We’d like to change that, one story at a time.
We’re inviting pregnant women and mothers of babies and children to take part in a short interview about their experiences. With their permission, the interviews will be shared on social media to bring more attention to what mothers in under-resourced areas in South Africa go through, and to introduce Kozani, our AI perinatal mental-health companion built to support moms during pregnancy and early motherhood.
Every participant will receive a hamper or voucher for their baby as a thank-you.
How to apply
